Questions we get asked a lot!

Where are you located?

We are opening a clinic at 4861 Hwy 431N in Springfield. Our target open date is May of 2025. Until then, we can help you obtain appointments at clinics in surrounding counties.

Can you help me fix my pet?

Yes we can, although right now all we can do is place you on our wait-list for when our new clinic opens. The one exception to this is outdoor cats. If you need help with community/feral cats, please call us.

What if I can't afford it?

We can help you! We work hard to secure grants and donations to make spay and neuter affordable to everyone in Robertson County.

Do you help residents outside of Robertson County?

Once our own clinic is open, we will serve residents from other counties. You can also visit spaytennessee.org to find clinics and programs throughout Tennessee.

Critter Fixers has been connecting Robertson County residents

to affordable spay and neuter since 2018.

Why Spay & Neuter?

  • Prevention saves lives!

  • No more annoying and messy heat cycles for females.

  • Reduces or eliminates spraying in male cats.

  • Less desire to roam.

  • Reduces the burden on our animal shelters.

  • Over 900,000 (yes that is almost 1 million) pets are put to sleep in animal shelters in the United States every single year. That's over 2,500 per day!

  • There aren't enough loving homes.

Fast Facts:

  • Kittens can reproduce as young as 4 months old!

  • Momma cats generally go into heat and are pregnant again before they even finish nursing!

  • Kittens and puppies can be fixed as young as 12 weeks!

  • Affordable clinics are often booked up months in advance. Now is the time to make your appointment!

  • The chance of developing breast cancer is virtually eliminated in females who are spayed before their first heat cycle.
